Welcome to Class 2
Here in Class 2, there is a buzz around learning!
Class 2 comprises of years 2, 3 and 4 and is taught by Miss Nunn. The main goal every day is that children have positive learning experiences, best suited to their personal interests and needs, to develop their knowledge and themselves as individuals.
In Class 2, we are fortunate to have additional support from Mrs Parris and Mr Evans. Collaboratively, we work to foster a vibrant learning environment, offering high quality small group work and numerous intervention sessions. On Tuesday afternoons, an external company provides the class with high quality PE sessions, offering a range of different sports and skill development. Other volunteers also support the children’s learning, regularly listening to children read and supporting with our interventions.
Through secure and in-depth subject knowledge, children are exposed to a broad and balanced curriculum. Children experience practical, engaging and interactive learning in all subject areas. Our pupils are motivated to adopt a growth mindset, where challenges are viewed as opportunities to flourish in our learning. Children receive high quality education with high expectations, so that they can become life-long learners who excel to their fullest potential.
